It's celebration time at ZSL London Zoo after the Zoo picked up three gold awards at last week's Visit London Awards.
The zoo's £5.3 million Gorilla Kingdom - which received a Royal opening on 30th March 2007 - was one of four experiences up for the Visit London: ITV London Tonight Award for Best New Experiences for Londoners. The Gorilla Kingdom's prize was one of two voted for by the general public. ZSL London Zoo also picked up the "Kids Love London" award.
The Zoo also won an award not voted for by the public: the Marketing/PR Campaign of the Year for Gorilla Kingdom.
