Don't let your fear of flying prevent you from enjoying a foreign holiday - Virgin Atlantic are one of the airlines who can help to boost a nervous flyer's confidence levels. The next Flying without Fear course for Virgin at Heathrow Airport is due to take place on 26th of August.
Virgin have been running successful Flying Without Fear courses for some time and earlier this month (22nd July) they commenced courses at Bournmouth airport.
Those who enrol on the course will be introduced to a Virgin Atlantic airline flight team who will describe the airline routines and safety procedures. The course spells out the main causes for a rise in anxiety levels before and during the flight. Then gives lucid reasons and explanations to minimise the fear of flying.
The course concludes with the opportunity to take a short flight, with follow up support from a psychotherapist.
Richard Conway, Director of FWF Limited said: "Over 10 million people in the UK have a fear of flying. Since the course began nearly ten years ago, we have had some amazing results with a success rate in excess of 98%"
Sir Richard Branson said:".... For the past ten years we have run courses at London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Luton, Newcastle, Southampton & Leeds-Bradford airports which makes Bournemouth the ninth venue for the course. More people than ever can reap the awards that the course offers those who have a fear of flying.""
