Best new websites named

The UK's best-selling internet magazine, Webuser, has named the best new and upgraded websites in its latest edition.

The best websites include a national newspaper, the UK's leading holiday add-ons company, a music-sharing site, and a site dedicated to recycling boxes.

The British institution, The Financial Times, which famously coined the phrase "No FT, no comment", gets top rating with a 5 star review. According to the review, "the presentation of content has been significantly improved to cope with the constant flux of the money markets".

Holiday add-ons company Holiday Extras gets a 4 star review for its revamped website.

"This relaunched site helps take the stress and expense out of arranging travel extras by letting you sort everything in one go."

says Webuser. The review also praises the design and booking confirmations saying

"The site's friendly, airy design makes booking your extras quick and easy, while all confirmations come with detailed directions and instructions."

Music sharing site 8tracks also gets a 4 star rating. The site lets aspiring music producers create their own MP3 music mix and publish it on the web. Webuser rates 8tracks a worthy successor to former music sharing site Muxtape and says it particularly likes the feature that lets you embed mixes on a website or blog.

Boxes might not be the most scintillating subject in the world, but re-using them is certainly a good idea. The website Eco Boxes sells recycled boxes and reuses them when they're finished with. "It's a worthy idea but the site could do with a little fine-tuning" says Webuser in awarding Eco Boxes 3 stars.
