Following a drab British summer, Jet2.com has announce a new summer schedule for 2010

Jet2.com has announced that following its busiest month operating from Leeds Bradford Airport, the airline is to introduce three new flight routes as part of its summer scheduled for 2010.

With the British summer somewhat underwhelming, the airline has revealed that from May 2010 sun-seekers will have the added choice of flying to Sharm El Sheikh, Corfu and Bergerac.

"It's clear that everyone feels they need a bit of sun in the summer," said Philip Meeson, CEO at Jet2.com. "Despite great weather predictions from the Met office this year it has been pretty dismal here in the UK. We've seen a huge increase in bookings this August and it looks like people don't want to be caught out again next year. We've got some great new destinations coming on sale, which will make sure people can
at least guarantee some summer sun.

"We have a great understanding of what the people of Yorkshire want from their holidays - fantastic leisure destinations, low fares and a friendly service. This is proving to be a winning formula which seems to be working this summer and hopefully, given the new routes we have just announced, will also give people what they want next year."

Fares for the new routes start from just £29.99 one way, including taxes, and can be booked online at www.jet2.com.
