easyJet puts 1 million holidays on sale
easyJet Holidays has launched a New Year sale with one million city break and sunshine holidays on sale for less than £199.
Hot holiday deals now on offer include the Algarve for 5 nights at a 3 star hotel for under £99 per person, Majorca for 7 nights at a 3 star hotel for under £149 per person, and Marrakech in Morocco for 5 nights at a 3 star hotel for under £199 per person. All prices include return flights, hotel accommodation and all taxes.
easyJet offers flights on 360 routes to holiday destinations in 23 European countries and a choice of over 10,000 hotels. As well as city breaks and summer sun breaks, day trips and weekend spring breaks are also on offer. Popular destinations include Costa del Sol, Prague, Venice, Nice, Madeira, Paris and Rome.
As well as its own flights, easyJet is also now offering for sale for summer 2008 flights on the 32 routes operated by GB Airways. easyJet is buying Gatwick based GB Airways, which has operated as a British Airways franchise, and expects to complete the deal this month.
As a result easyJet will offer a choice of 66 routes from Gatwick, and another six from Manchester airport. Among the summer holiday destinations are Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, the ever-popular Canary Islands, the Greek Islands and Turkey.
Flights from Manchester airport include routes to the gateway to the Alps Innsbruck (until 3 April), Heraklion in Crete, Malta, Malaga, Paphos in Cyprus, and Tenerife. Flights from Gatwick include new routes offered for the first time by easyJet such as Corfu, Gran Canaria, Gibraltar, Mykonos and Rhodes.
