Heathrow Express running during tube strike

Worried about getting to or from Heathrow airport during the tube strike? The Heathrow Express is running as normal.

The Heathrow Express departs from London Paddington every 15 minutes between 5.10 am and 11.42 pm. From Heathrow airport, trains depart between 5.07 am and 11.42 pm.

Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 are serviced, with the journey to Terminal 5 taking 21 minutes.

Tickets can be purchased online, at dedicated tickets offices within Paddington station, at Heathrow airport or onboard the Heathrow Express train.

The RMT union strike started at 7.00 pm on Tuesday 9 June and London Underground services will not return to normal until the morning of Friday June 12.

Trains are running on more than half of all London Underground lines this morning, including a full service on the Northern and Jubilee lines.

Richard Parry, Interim Managing Director of London Underground, said:

"I want to join Londoners in thanking our hard-working Tube and transport staff who came to work yesterday and kept London moving, and got many thousands of football fans to and from last night's England match at Wembley.

"We're running services on more than half of our lines this morning, and services are better than this time yesterday. I hope that we will be able to add to that throughout the day. Those travelling in London should continue to check before they travel, and we will keep doing everything possible to get you to where you need to be."
