Jet2.com rewards Leeds travel agent

A Leeds-based travel agent is enjoying the perfect start to summer after being awarded a brand new Ford Fiesta by carrier Jet2.com.

Caroline Wright, from Co-op Travel in Roundhay, Leeds, was the winner of a UK-wide competition for travel agents that are part of the Co-operative Travel Trade Group. All bookings made for Jet2.com flights from January 1-March 31, 2009 were entered into the prize draw with the winner picked at random.

Caroline was delighted to be the victor: "It's lovely to be awarded a car by Jet2.com. It's a really great incentive for travel agents and makes work that little bit more fun."

A spokesman for the Co-operative Travel Trade Group said: "We would like to congratulate Caroline Wright on winning this fantastic prize courtesy of Jet2 and Escape - the Co-operative Travel. The incentive was a huge success for us [as] we saw a large increase in sales and awareness."

Following the success of the competition, Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays.com have launched a new initiative offering agents the opportunity to have their household bills paid for an entire year - a prize worth £3,000.

To be entered into the new draw, all agents have to do is book the most flights and holidays departing in July and August 2009 with Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays.com, and register their sales at www.jet2.com/winacar.
