Ryanair site to undergo maintenance

June 17, 2009

Ryanair, Europe's largest low-fares airline, has announced that its website is set to undergo essential maintenance for 10 hours on the evening of June 24.

From 7pm on June 24 until 5am on June 25, much needed upgrades will take place at www.ryanair.com. In order to avoid inconvenience, Ryanair advises web check-in passengers travelling on June 25 to ensure that they have checked in online before 6pm the previous day.

Ryanair's Stephen McNamara said: "Ryanair's guaranteed lowest fares will see 67 million passengers travel on one of our 800 routes this year. To ensure our website can continue to cater to the enormous demand for our low fares we are undertaking a systems upgrade which will temporarily close our site."

Passengers who booked flights on or before May 21 and selected to use airport check-in will be unaffected and can check-in as normal at the airport.
