Following in the successful footsteps of the hit talent search How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria, Andrew Lloyd Webber and the BBC are set to bring another talent hunt to the screen - Any Dream Will Do.
The fun kicks off tomorrow - Saturday March 31st - with a look at auditions so far. Hosted, once again, by Graham Norton, Any Dream Will Do will search out talent to star in a new West End production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Across the country thousands of hopefuls have already auditioned and now the judges have to bring the number of Josephs down to 100 for the London Call Backs from which the final 50 will go through to Joseph School. Once in Joseph School the hopefuls will be trained by the best in the business - vocal coaches, acting teachers and choreographers - and even a few celebrity mentors - will put them through their paces.
From the initial audition processes only 12 hopefuls will remain and then it's up to the public. Contestants will face a panel of judges - Denise Van Outen, theatre produced Bill Kenwright, Torchwood star John Barrowman and voice coach Zoe Tyler. Alongside the television show, an online competition will be run by the BBC for school choirs, the winning choir will perform live during the final show of Any Dream Will Do.
Any Dream Will Do is one of 2 televised West End musical talent searches due to hit the television screens this year. Lloyd Webber's former How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria collaborator will be chairing Grease Is The Word from April.
