Change of Cast at Chicago

Change of Cast at Cambridge's Chicago

Chicago

It's all happening behind the scenes at The Cambridge Theatre right now: a major shake up of cast members of Chicago will keep the hit musical feeling as fresh as ever as the show enters its second year at the theatre.

Birgitte Hjort Sorensen will take on the role of Roxie Hart, the show's protagonist until the 27th April this year. The Danish star certainly has the qualifications to play the part having spent time playing the same character in the Copenhagen production previously.

Rachel McDowell will also be joining the cast until mid-May . McDowall's previous experience includes the role of Ulla in The Producers. She will also be appearing in the movie version of Mamma Mia due out soon.

Other changes include Zee Asha who will assume the role of Mama Morton until the end of March when Claudia Shear will take over.
