Chicago announces cast changes

The West End production of Chicago will see a change in casting from 2 June 200 with some familiar faces returning to the Cambridge Theatre.

Anna Jane Casey, Victor McGuire and Sue Kelvin will return to the show as Velma Kelly, Amost Hart and Mama Morton respectively. Current cast members Rachel McDowall (Velma Kelly), Sarah Soetaert (Roxie Hart), Paul Rider (Amos Hart) and Claudia Shear (Mama Morton) will take their final bows on May 31st. From June 2nd Suzanne Shaw will be joining the cast as Roxie Hart, with the exception of Friday performances.

This razzle dazzle musical follows chorus girl Roxie Hart who murders her lover and is sent to jail where she finds herself alongside her personal icon and rival Velma Kelly. As Roxie and Velma battle for supremacy of the prison and the newspaper headlines their smooth talking lawyer Billy Flynn battles to get them out of jail.
