Chicago Cast Change

The West End production of Chicago has announced a cast change in the roles of Roxie Hart and Billy Flynn.

From 16 October 2007, Sarah Soetart will replace Josefina Gabrielle as Roxie Hart until November 3rd. Michael Simkins will play Billy Flynn from 29 October to November 3rd. Casting for the roles beyond this date have yet to be announced. The new actors will be joining existing cast members Annette McLaughlin as Velma Kelly, Clive Rowe as Amos Hart and Kelly Osbourne as Mamma Morton.

This sensational musical follows chorus girl Roxie Hart who murders her lover and is sent to jail where she finds herself alongside her personal icon and rival Velma Kelly. As Roxie and Velma battle for supremacy of the prison and the newspaper headlines their smooth talking lawyer Billy Flynn battles to get them out of jail.
