Extended Booking for Les Misérables

Les Misérables, one of the most successful London musicals of all time, has announced an extended booking period at the Queens Theatre.

Having first hit the London stages in 1985, Les Misérables is now taking bookings until April 25th 2009. A West End institute, the production celebrated its 21st Anniversary in 2006 and last year saw in its 9,000th performance.

Les Misérables currently stars Drew Sarich as Jean Valjean, Hals Peter Janssens as Javert, Joanna Ampil as Fantine, Chris Vincent as Thenardier, Gary Watson as Marius, Edward Baruwa as Enjoiras, Melanie Le Barrie as Madame Thenardier, Cassandra Compton as Eponine and Claire-Marie Hall as Cossette.

Les Misérables is set in the Parisian underground during the time of the French Revolution. When Jean Valjean is released from a 19 year prison sentence for stealing a loaf of bread he is determined to put his criminal past behind him. though his attempts to drag himself out of the gutter are constantly thwarted by his conscience.
