A new series of The South Bank Show will feature an episode on Mamma Mia! with the casts from both the musical and the forthcoming movie.
Mamma Mia the movie is due for release in July and it's stars Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Meryl Streep will feature on the episode of the The South Bank Show. The film was the first one to be filmed on the new 007 Stage at Pinewood studies for some of the song and dance elements that could not be shot on location in Greece. The film will also star an ex 007 - Pierce Brosnan who said of his role: "What a kick in the pants, to be able to go off and spend some time with Meryl on some Greek island singing Abba songs."
Also featuring on the show will be interviews with ABBA's Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson and behind the scenes footage from the opening of a new European stage production of Mamma Mia!.
