After a run of nearly three and a half years, the enchanting West End production of Mary Poppins has posted closure notices at the Prince Edward Theatre for January 12th 2008.
This magical London musical is based on the children's books by PL Travers and the 1964 Disney film starring Julie Andrews. Mary Poppins opened on London's West End in December 2004 and has proved a huge success with both theatre goers and critics alike - in 2005 it was nominated for 9 Olivier awards, winning 2.
