Talbot replaces Smith in Hairspray

Ian Talbot is set to take the role of Wilbur Turnblad in the West End's Hairspray. Talbot has performed regularly for the Royal Shakespeare Company as well as making various appearances on television in As Time Goes By, Heartbeat and Poirot.

Talbot has worked behind the scenes on the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre as the artistic director, thus putting his numerous skills to good use in more ways than many know.

Ian will make his first appearance in Hairspray on January 28th, joining Michael Ball, Leanne Jones and Ben James-Ellis. All cast will continue until October 25th.
