Zorro makes his mark on the West End

Zorro will be arriving in the West End this summer as the musical takes to the Garrick Theatre from July 19th.

Zorro is one of the most recognised, swashbuckling swordsman having been imortalised in numerous films and books since he first appeared in the pulp fiction magazine All-Story Weekly in 1920. This London musical is inspired by the novel by Isabel Allende and tells the heroic and dramatic story of Diego De la Vega.

Born into two worlds, Diego's mother is a Shoshone warrior and his father an aristocratic military man. Diego's young promise and skill at fencing is encouraged before he is sent to Barcelona for his education. When in Barcelona the young man becomes more distracted by the corruption and injustice of the Napoleonic rule and joins an underground resistance movement and the legend of Zorro begins to unfold.
