Manx2.com adds routes from Belfast
Regional airline Manx2.com has announced new flights to launch from Belfast.
Regional carrier Manx2.com has announced that it is to launch more services from George Best Belfast City airport following a record month at the hub.
From mid-December passengers will be able to fly from the Isle of Man to Belfast City airport at 10:15 in the morning, with the return service leaving Northern Ireland at 11:15.
With the addition of the new service Manx2.com will be offering 14 flights a day between its base in the Isle of Man and Belfast.
October was a record month for the carrier's services to Belfast, with 2,650 customers booked on its routes to both hubs in the city, representing a market share of over 70 per cent.
James Filleul, communications director for Manx2.com, said: "We are really pleased that customers are responding well to the services we offer on the Belfast routes.
"We now offer up to 14 flights on a weekday, at times tailored to appeal to both the business and leisure customer, and a price promise guaranteeing that we will always be £5 cheaper than our competitor on a similarly timed flight."
Mr Filleul described Belfast as a "fantastic leisure destination" that is now a "key route" for Manx2.com.
