US Airways Boosts Inflight Service

American carrier US Airways has announced improvements to the inflight meals and snacks available for purchase in its 'coach class' cabins.

A new menu has been developed that, according to the airline, features a selection of fresh meals and a snack box that will be changed every two months to offer variety.

US Airways also said that it will be increasing the number of meals offered on each flight.

Kevin Jackson, managing director of consumer and partnership marketing for the operator, said: "Our frequent flyers told us that they wanted healthy, better-quality meal and snack choices and that they also wanted some variety.

"We responded by developing a variety of options that our customers are sure to enjoy."

The airline's inflight cafe meal selections can be purchased on certain domestic, Caribbean and Latin American flights longer than 3.5 hours.
