Ian Fleming and James Bond, For Your Eyes Only
2008 marks a centenary since the birth of British writer and James Bond creator, Ian Fleming. To celebrate the occasion the London Imperial War Museum is hosting an exhibition detailing the life and works of the successful novelist.
Displays will include artefacts from the popular Bond Films, manuscripts, annotated notes to information about the life of Ian Fleming. Visitors to the attraction can expect to view the bikini worn by Halle Berry in Die Another Day, the "blood splattered" shirt worn by Daniel Craig in the latest Bond film, Casino Royale, Goldfinger's golf shoes and the prototypes for Rosa Klebb's flick knife shoes used in From Russia with Love.
