Triangle Parking at Southampton Port
If you're travelling from the Ocean cruise terminal at Southampton port be sure to consider Triangle Parking. When you arrive at the car park your number plate will automatically be recognised, then all you need to do is park in a free space and walk the short journey to the terminal - no transfers, no fuss.
While the Triangle Car Park is best suited for the Ocean terminal, you can still book this parking option if you're travelling from other terminals such as Mayflower, City or QE2. However, as there isn't a shuttle service, we would highly recommend organising a taxi in advance as it's too far to walk, especially with luggage.
Reasons to book Triangle Parking
- There's no need for a shuttle bus so you'll be at the terminal in minutes.
- The car park has CCTV and has won a Park Mark award for its security, so you know your car is in good hands.
Arrival at Triangle Parking
Drive up to the car park and your registration will be recognised automatically. You can then park in any space.
There is no shuttle bus and therefore this car park may not be suitable for the Mayflower, City or QE2 terminal without arranging a private onward transfer. If you are travelling from one of these terminals we would recommend booking a local taxi, as with luggage it really is too far to walk. A taxi is approximately £13 return each way - the car park recommends using West Quay Cars and their number is 0238 099 9999.

Arriving at the car park
When you arrive at the car park your car reg will be recognised.
Park your car, keep your keys and walk to the Ocean Terminal in a few minutes.
If you're embarking at the Mayflower, City or QE2 terminals we'd recommend booking a taxi as they can be quite far to walk with luggage.
Returning to the car park
After you disembark at the Ocean Terminal, walk back to your car.
If you return to a different terminal we'd recommend taking a taxi back to the Ocean Terminal to collect your car.
On your return to Triangle Parking
Walk or get a taxi back to the car park to collect your car.

Early or late? If you return late you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £26 per day during peak times, or £16 per day during off-peak. This is subject to change.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2.7m entry barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
