A budget hotel you can trust
Although the Premier Inn, London Gatwick Airport, A23 Hotel is one of the lower-priced Gatwick airport hotels, it has a high-quality feel and efficient, friendly staff. The hotel is immediately welcoming, with a helpful reception desk and a convivial restaurant and bar area which serves food and drinks throughout the day (and night!).
The Premier Inn Gatwick A23 Airport Way, formerly the Premier Inn Gatwick Central, is an excellent choice for those travelling to Gatwick airport by car. It's just a four-minute drive from junction 9 of the M23, which makes it extremely easy to reach from the motorway, and is also within easy reach of Gatwick airports Long Stay car park. Book your vehicle into the Gatwick airport Long Stay, just a few minutes drive away, and you can drop it off as soon as you arrive, leaving you to relax and start enjoying your holiday.

To get to the terminal, the regular G2 bus service picks up from immediately outside the hotels main entrance and takes just 10 minutes to reach the South terminal, and a further five minutes to reach the North terminal.
The Premier Inn Gatwick A23 Airport Way has a pleasant modern restaurant with a wide ranging menu of British pub-style dishes for both lunch and dinner, as well as a comfortable lounge area. Theres also wifi (chargeable) in all areas, including the rooms. For any forgotten holiday must-haves, theres also a Shell garage next door with all the essentials which is open 24 hours a day.
We recommend the Premier Inn Gatwick A23 Airport Way for:
Families - Family rooms are spacious enough for two adults and two children, plus all those suitcases! Children are allowed in the welcoming bar area at all times and a special childrens menu is provided. Room rates are the same no matter how many people are staying, so the Premier Inn is also an affordable choice for families.
Parking - Gatwick airports Long Stay car parks are extremely close to the hotel and getting there doesnt even involve driving on a main road. Theres also a convenient secure car park at the hotel for the night of your stay.
Public transport - Its possible to walk to the North terminal from the hotel in less than five minutes and from here its a simple (free) shuttle ride to the South terminal where youll find the train station, with regular trains into London.
Arrival at the Premier Inn A23
You can check in from 14:00. It costs £10 to park at the hotel overnight.
Here are your directions to the hotel:
Leave the M23 at junction 9 and follow signs for Gatwick airport. Go straight on at the first two roundabouts, then right at the third roundabout. The hotel will be on the right.
By public transport:
You can get a train or a coach to the airport, then catch the hotel's shuttle bus. There are roadworks at the airport right now, so the bus doesn't always leave from the same stop. If you go to stop 8 or 9, at either terminal, there will be a sign telling you where to wait.
You must check out by noon.
The hotel's shuttle bus runs to both terminals every 20 minutes from 04:00 to midnight, and every half an hour between midnight and 04:00. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the South terminal, and 15 minutes to get to the North terminal - the hotel is opposite the North terminal, but the bus goes to the South terminal first. You can also walk to the North terminal from the hotel, which would take about 10 minutes. The bus costs £3 per adult - children travel free.
