Holiday Extras®, the UK market leader for airport hotels and car parking, came away victorious from the British Travel Awards 2008 with the award for Best Airport Parking Company.
The prestigious annual awards were hosted by comedian Frankie Boyle on November 6, 2008 at the stunning Battersea Evolution arena in London, and brought together representatives of some of the biggest travel companies from across the British Isles.
Nominated in the Best Airport Parking Company category, Holiday Extras beat competition from such companies as APH and Pink Elephant to take home the award.
David Stratton, head of sales at Holiday Extras, picked up the award. "The competition this year was extremely tough,' said David. "But there can be no better reward for the hard work of everyone involved at the company than to be named the Best Airport Parking Company.
"Thanks to the all of our customers for voting for us. We promise to continue providing the greatest possible levels of service and value."
Consumer votes and opinions from the travel industry are sought when deciding on the winners of each category. The British Travel Awards Academy - consisting of a panel of industry experts and commentators - make the final decision on the winners.
