For Your Eyes Only, Ian Fleming and James Bond Exhibition

From April 2008 until March 2009 the London Imperial War Museum will host the For Your Eyes Only exhibition to celebrate the centenary of Ian Fleming's birth.

James Bond Exhibition, Ian Fleming

For You Eyes Only at the London Imperial War Museum

To mark one hundred years since the birth of British writer Ian Fleming, a display of memorabilia from the Bond films to manuscripts and notes spanning his career will be on display at the Imperial War Museum. The exhibition will include research notes for From Russia with Love, the bikini worn by Halle Berry in Die Another Day and even the "blood stained" shirt worn by Daniel Craig in the latest Bond film Casino Royale.

Daniel Craig

This rare glimpse into the inspiration and influences that led to the creation of one of the most recognised fictional characters in the world is not to be missed! For Your Eyes Only spans Ian Fleming's career not only as a journalist and travel writer but his role during the war and his rise to global recognition through the Bond series.

Learn the inspiration behind Fleming's characters and how much of his narrative was drawn from personal experience. The displays examine the motivation behind Fleming's genius as well as celebrating his successes.
