Avenue Q - Songs from the London Show

Avenue Q is the latest musical to make the long journey across the Atlantic to the UK. Take a scroll down the avenue with Princeton and his vastly different friends - this is possibly the furriest and funniest musical you will ever see!

Avenue Q - Music

Music: Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx

Completely original, refreshingly honest and outrageously funny the musical score for this West End show is totally different to the normal London show. Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx have created a soundtrack full of controversy and explicit lyrics.

The whole show resembles an adult form of the popular TV show Sesame Street - the characters have comical voices but the content is a lot more adult. The songs are upbeat and rousing, the usual West End ballads are present but interspersed with explicit lyrics which reduces the sentiment whilst increasing the comedy.

Avenue Q - The Soundtrack

Parental Advisory The Avenue Q soundtrack could quite possibly be the soundtrack to your life - although not all elements will apply there is a little something in this musical for every adult.

Listen out for the particularly amusing, Mix Tape a ballad dedicated to the declaration of love that is the making of a mixed tape. Other show hits include, If You Were Gay, The Internet Is For Porn, Everyone's A Little Bit Racist, There's A Fine, Fine Line, The Avenue Q Theme, What Do You Do With A BA in English?, I Wish I Could Go Back To College, From Now, Purpose, I'm Not Wearing Underwear Today, Special, You Can Be As Loud As The Hell You Want, Fantasies Come True, There Is Life Outside Your Apartment, My Girlfriend Who Lives In Canada, Schadenfreude, School For Monsters and The More You Ruv Someone
