Sinitta joins ITV's all-star show - 'Grease is the Word'

When Grease is the Word hits TV screens across the UK in 2007, Sinitta will be one of the four judges. Alongside David Gest, David Ian and Brian Friedman, Sinitta will choose the Danny and Sandy to appear in the West End production of Grease.

Biography

Born Sinitta Renet Malone in Seattle, Washington on the 19th October 1966, Sinitta rise to fame started with an appearance in the movie 'Shock Treatment' (1981). She followed this up with a role in 'Cats' (1983) and the musical film 'Mutiny' (1984) before heading the dance group 'Hot Gossip'.

Sinitta began solo recordings in 1983, but her major pop breakthrough came in 1986 with the cult hit So Macho. The following year she released her UK #4 hit 'Toyboy' as well as the UK #15 'GTO'. Sinitta continued to have hits until the 1990s when her chart entries dwindled.

Sinitta returned to British TV as a vocal judge on 2005's 'The X Factor' and continued this role in the third series of the popular show. In 2006 Sinitta competed as a celebrity contestant on SKY's 'Cirque Du Celebrite', where she trained to perform circus acts.

Sinitta will return to British Television as a judge on ITV's Grease is the Word', expected to be a massive ratings winner and critical success.
