The West End is having a 60s revival this october with the return of the award winning Hairspray, grab your dancing shoes and hair products as Tracy Turnblad is back in town.

Please note in 2008 Michael Ball will no longer appear in Monday evening performances and will be on holiday from: Mon 28th April - Tues 6th May, Sat 14th June, Mon 30th June - Tues 8th July, Sat 19th July, Mon 15th Sep - Tues 23rd Sep. Michael Ball ends his contract with the show 25th October 2008.

Hairspray - The Story

It's 1962 in Baltimore and dancing is the new teen sensation, Tracy Turnblad is a big girl with big hair and an even bigger passion - to dance. After winning a spot on the local TV dance programme 'The Corny Collins Show', she unleashes her dancing talent on the world and becomes an instant hit overnight. Transformed from a nobody to a teen celebrity and trendsetter, can Tracy use her new status to win the affections of the heart-throb Link Larkin and beat her dancing rival without messing up her hair doo? Welcome to the 60s!
