Marguerite the Show

Marguerite will be the world premiere of an all new collaboration between some of the biggest names in modern theatre. Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg (Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and Martin Guerre), three time Oscar winning musical luminary Michel Legrand (Summer of '42, Windmills of Your Mind and Yentl) and Les Miserables lyricist Herbert Kretzmer provide one of the most highly experienced and successful production teams of recent times. You can bet this multi-award winning company will provide one of the most spectacular shows to hit the West End.

The Story of Marguerite the Musical

A heart wrenching love story set in occupied Paris during the Second World War, Marguerite was inspired by Dumas' La Dame aux Camélias more commonly known in English as Camille. The novel was originally published in 1848 and has been performed on stage and screen in several different forms. This updated version of the story focusses on Marguerite, the stunning and notorious mistress of a high ranking Nazi officer and Armand, a young musician and member of the French Resistance far younger than Marguerite who falls obsessively in love with her.
