Set in Liverpool in the 1960s, Blood Brothers tells the story of twin brothers separated at birth. Mrs Johnston, the twins' mother, is too poor to care for both of them and so reluctantly gives one of the twins to her wealthy boss. The two boys go on to lead very different lives. Later in life their paths cross again with tragic consequences.
