There are many new events happening at Chessington in 2008, from the new Sea Life centre to the Halloween Hocus Pocus. There's bound to be something for all the family to enjoy this year, read on to find out all about the fantastic events at Chessington...

Sea Life Centre
Brand new for 2008 at Chessington World of Adventure is the amazing Sea Life centre. The new centre will house over 20 different species of marine life to wow young and old alike. Housed in a specially built aquarium there is a breathtaking 250,000 litres for the animals to swim around in. Featuring interactive touchpools, fun exhibitions and a walkthrough ocean tank there is something there for all the family. Feel like you're walking at the bottom of the ocean as you see the sea life in a natural habitat at the Chessington Sea Life centre.

Spongebob's Family Reunion: 21st - 24th March
Spongebob's Family Reunion is taking place in the Sea Life centre this Easter weekend! This is your chance to meet Spongebob's extended family and join in the party fun at Chessington World of Adventures. Having left his pet snail Gary to guard his house, Spongebob is taking his best friend Patrick along to Chessington Sea Life centre to show his extended family, including shrimps, starfish and even sharks and stingrays!

Character Breakfast and Animal Meet and Greet 22nd - 24th March, 5th, 11th, 12th April
This Easter weekend the Holiday Inn at Chessington is host to some extremely special guests, Dennis the Menace and Gnasher, and Chessington's Spike and Cinders! Guests staying at the hotel will get the chance to meet the famous characters over breakfast.

Guests staying on the 5th, 11th and 12th of April will get an amazing opportunity to meet some special animals from Chessington Zoo. Between 6pm and 7pm the Zoo keepers will be giving guests the chance to get up close and personal with the animals.

Marty Treasures his Friends 21st - 24th March, 5th - 20th April
Showing at 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 3:30pm and 5:00pm Marty the Marine Biologist is here with his best friend Sydney the Seagull to take you on an unforgettable sea-life adventure aboard their boat, The Rickety Hull. Also helping out Marty during the show are Harriet the Hermit Crab, Sinbad the Seal and Tallulah Tuna. The kids will love this musical look at sea-life and the oceans.

Mr Cadabra's Magic Emporium 24th May - 21st June
Showing at 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 3:30pm and 5:00pm Mr Cadabra's Magic Emporium is set to dazzle guests at Chessington this Spring! While fixing the magic tricks of all his friends, Mr Cadabra must also thwart the nefarious Baron Spellthief and stop his evil deeds. Will Mr Cadabra and his assistant Potty Penelope succeed? There's only one way to find out...

The Wild Factor 2: Animals on Deck 19th July - 1st September
The Wild Factor 2 is running daily at 1:00pm, 3:30pm and 5:00pm. Climb aboard and join in the fun this summer at Chessington World of Adventures.

Halloween Hocus Pocus 18th October - 2nd November
The Wicked Witches return to Chessington this Halloween, ready to cast their spell over the park once again. Come along this autumn and join in with the chaos!

A Christmas Tail 13th December 2008 - 4th January 2009
