How can I keep my baby warm in cold weather?

The key to keeping your baby warm if you're travelling to colder climes is appropriate clothing.
Your baby will want to be warm, not hot. You'll have to be careful when dressing baby that you're not so over-zealous with the layers that they overheat, but also not so frugal that they're too cold.

Heat is mostly lost through the head, hands and feet. You'll want to make sure these areas are all covered up snugly. A nice warm winter hat and some boots and gloves should work nicely.

You might want to pack a couple of pairs of gloves if your baby is old enough to put its hands in its mouth. If gloves get wet, they can actually make hands colder, not warmer. If this happens, make sure you've a nice dry pair to put on.

When heading outside, an all-in-one snowsuit is a great idea. You can dress your baby for the cold and then just slip them into the snowsuit for any outside ventures. This cuts out any hassle layering up baby for the outdoors as you can just slip them into their snowsuit.
