Book your stay at Redwood Hotel
The Redwood Hotel and Country Club isn't like your average airport hotel, oh no. This hotel, on the edge of Bristol has one indoor and two outdoor pools, a sauna and a steam room, five tennis courts, seven squash courts and even a 130 seat cinema. It's more like a holiday than a hotel.
Arrival at the Redwood
You can check in from 2pm.
Here are your directions to the hotel:
By car:
Leave the M5 at junction 19, and take the A369 towards Clifton for about three miles. Turn right at the traffic lights onto the B3129 Beggar Bush Lane. The hotel is a mile down the road on the left.
By public transport:
The nearest train station is Bristol Temple Meads. A taxi from here to the hotel will cost about £15.
Checking Out
You must check out by noon. A taxi to the airport will cost about £21. The hotel can make the arrangements for you.
Getting to and from Bristol airport
A pleasant surprise.
Surprisingly relaxing: Drive to the hotel and park in the car park. Your car will stay there until you get back.
Surprisingly tasty: Once you've checked in, choose between the distinguished Summer House restaurant or a lighter meal in the hotel's brasserie.
Surprisingly fast: In the morning, treat yourself to a cooked breakfast in the Summer House restaurant. The hotel will book you a taxi to the airport. It will take about 15 minutes and cost around £21 each way.
Surprisingly simple: When you get back from holiday, just grab a taxi back to your car.
