Dublin has assembled an inspiring list of concerts, festivals and special events this summer that will entice thousands of visitors to the Irish capital. This charming and vibrant city has something to offer for all tastes and ages, so there is no better time to take a short break to Dublin.

June

There is a vast array of live acts performing in June, including Neil Diamond (14th), Prince (16th) and Eric Clapton (21st). More contemporary artists featuring in the capital city include Linkin Park with special guests Queens of the Stone Age (22nd), Jay-Z (26th) and Boyzone (28th).

July

Riverdance returns to the city where it all began in 1995. These phenomenal performances of Irish music, song and dance run from 24th June until 30th August. Billy Connolly brings his one man show, 'Too Old To Die Young', to the capital between 5th and 9th July.

Dublin also plays host to two other amazing events that are certain to increase the flow of endorphines during July. Firstly, there is the Carlsberg Comedy Carnival, which runs from 24th until 27th. Secondly, the Chocolate festival will be held on the same weekend, running from 25th until 27th. Michael Buble is also set to perform live open air concert on the 26th July.

August

The summer concludes with another wide selection of live acts performing in August. On the 13th Muse are set to perform with special guest Kasabian. Lenny Kravitz is scheduled to play with Alanis Morissette on the 19th. This is followed on the 20th by a performance from Metallica, with special guest Tenacious D. Finally, the Killers are in concert on the 21st.
