everything went very smooth apart from the fact that at the hotel I was inadvertently billed twice for the evening meal,this was sorted very quickly and professionally at reception.

We have been to the Thistle before so knew what to expect, first class. Transport laid on was first class even though the departures was only about 600 yards away, taxi waiting when we arrived back. We have already booked again for our holiday in May

The facilities were fine and comfortable. We did have one mistake that could have been awkward for us. We had to catch an early flight and the receptionist suggested we should book an early wake up call. This was booked for 4.30am. However, the call was never made and we heared nothing. Fortunately, we had our own alarm clocks and they worked ok.

Perfectly located hotel, right at the entrance to the airport. we were sent a taxi as transfer, which took less than 3 minutes to airport. Just as quick on return, taxi waiting at taxi office. Brilliant, would recomend to anyone.

Nice hotel, great deal. Transfer to airport could only take 2 or 3 people at a time, which led to a long queue in the cold, however it is only a 4 min walk to the airport. Will definitely use again.

Booked overnight stay plus car parking at the Thistle Hotel, East Midlands. So close to airport can actually walk across but there is a shuttle if you need it. Would book again. Very convenient and good value for money

There was no problem with making the booking but the hotel was shockingly disorganised. There wasn't room in the car park to park and that was the reason I booked the hotel to get the 14 nights parking. I eventually found a space after waiting

Bedroom could have been cleaner (eg edges of carpets & around furniture). Bathroom in need of comprehensive refurbishment(basin cracked etc). Decor very tired. Price competitive, though. All other aspects - car parking, admin etc fine.
