Stayed in the Acorn Lodge in Gatwick where the staff were friendly and the room adequate for our needs. Requested a lower floor room which we got and had a small meal in the hotel which was very nice. Transfer was faultless and we would use this hotel again as it was good value for money.

A nice hotel clean with good rooms. Close to Horley town centre if you want to stretch your legs. I had a problem getting back to Gatwick but a quick E-MAIL and the problem was sorted.

The acorn guest house was what you paid for but wouldn’t stay again I had bed bugs shower was too small to move around in and I’m only 5”7, tv in wrong position so u lay in bed can’t see it properly.toilet area too small, Christ someone large was in there on there own would have been a comedy show

I had problems initially booking online, it took payment but website just in loop when confirming. However, all sorted over phone. We were delayed travelling to hotel in evening and got there very late, very worrying when we got there to be told hotel had not received our booking. So we had visions of having to find someone else in early hours. The hotel (Acorn Lodge) had 1 room left and were very helpful and sorted. However, this has rocked confidence about using service. If height of summer we could have been placed in difficult situation. So would like to understand what went wrong - everything else very smooth

Absolutely no problems whatsoever Stayed at the Acorn Lodge night before our flight room bedding towels very clean evening meal drinks and service of staff fault less no problems with car when we arrived back 2 weeks later quick pick up from airport stayed here before meet all our needs would definitely recommend

Hotel old and dated room not very clean and noisy next to a main road . Had to phone hotel twice on return about their transfer that we booked with . Phoned when on way to pick up point after coming out of airport said they would be 5mins . Waited 20 mins at bus stop in freezing cold phoned hotel up again they said transfer on way . After another 10 mins phoned them again they said I should give 30mins . I said it had been 30mins in total and he told me not to argue with him as it was 10 minutes since I had phoned . After 5 more minutes transfer arrives driver never helped with bags and I timed drive back to hotel and it only took 3 minutes to get back . Did not appreciate being lied to about it being on way . I could have got a taxi for less than the £7 journey cost with hotel without the wait in freezing cold
