Passengers flying from Heathrow are being asked not to travel to terminals 1 and 3 as heavy snow continues to wreak havoc at the world's busiest airport.
No more than a third of flights are expected to take off today and tomorrow, and delays and cancellations are predicted right up until Christmas.
The airport's website is advising passengers not to travel to the airport unless they have confirmation from the airline that their flight is leaving.
Heathrow was closed at the weekend after five inches of snow fell in an hour on Saturday.
If you're flying from terminal 4 and are worried about travelling in the snow, why not head to the airport the day before your flight and stay at the Hilton Heathrow?
The hotel is connected to terminal 4 by a covered walkway - so instead of rushing in dangerous conditions, you can take your time travelling up, safe in the knowledge that when you get there that evening, no amount of snow will stop you getting to check-in. The hotel also provides its own shuttle service to and from terminal 5.
The Hilton has three restaurants, a bar, a beauty salon and a swimming pool. All rooms have soundproofing, blackout curtains, air conditioning and a minibar.
Prices for a room on Thursday, December 23 start from £129.
