Sleep on a cloud

The Thistle Hotel Heathrow has 266 bedrooms and is great for anyone who wants to get a sound night's sleep and wake up minutes from all terminals.

The hotel is currently undergoing a room refurbishment programme, so many have been recently updated and improved, but even if you stay in a room which is waiting for the refurb, you won't be disappointed.

All rooms are air conditioned and are en-suite, plus all have triple glazing to ensure you're not disturbed by airport noise. Each bedroom has access to free, unlimited wifi as well as a flatscreen TV, a trouser press, a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. You can request a cot, and gadget fans may like to know that the rooms have multiple power outlets, including some close to the bed which is a bonus if you like to use your laptop in comfort. Room service is available, and the wardrobes include extra pillows, blankets and towels.

Most rooms are a standard double, however you can also request a twin or a triple room. There are interconnecting rooms and family suites which include a double bed in one room, and a twin bedroom separately.

Arrived quite late but the staff were very helpful , explained were everything was and what time they were open too. Would I use again , yes without hesitation

Mr Edwards (Heathrow Thistle)

I like this hotel. Quiet comfortable and efficient. You're are far better off driving from the hotel to the long term car parks as the shuttle service from there is fast and comfortable. The Heathrow bus service is slow and expensive, by comparison.

Mr Milligan (Heathrow Thistle)

All was very satisfactory. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant which was very good.

Mrs Barker (Heathrow Thistle)

Stayed at the Thistle several times previously and it has always been excellent - good restaurant and quiet, pleasant rooms and always the best price from Holiday Extras. The directions to the T2/T3 long term parking from the hotel is a bit confusing in the dark and could be made clearer that you have to immediately cross over into the slip road to turn right when you reach the first dual carriageway and also riight then immediately left at the lights but the instructions say travel to the next junction before turning left - led to believe its a lot further on but is only about 20 yds. Otherwise great!

Mr Mckinley (Heathrow Thistle)

Unfortunately the opportunity to leave our car at the hotel was not offered through HolidayExtras (that I could easily see) I assumed this facility was not available, however on speaking to reception at the hotel it is! We would have preferred this facility
