A second Ukrainian city is now within easy reach of passengers flying from Luton airport.

Low-cost airline Wizz Air Ukraine has just started running four flights a week to Lviv, one of the country's major cultural centres.

The city is home to the third largest theatre in central Europe, one of central Europe's oldest universities, and churches, synagogues, buildings and relics dating from the 13th century. Its historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The airline started running four flights a week from Luton to the capital Kiev in December.

Airport marketing director Natalie Raper said: “We are delighted to make the Ukraine as accessible as any other European country to millions of travellers."

If you're flying to the Ukraine from Luton airport, why not start your holiday early by booking a room at the Ramada Hemel Hempstead?

Prices start from £124.00 for a room with up to eight days' parking, and £129.00 for a room with up to 15 days' parking.
