Premium spirits to toast your holiday
Think beachside bar ... but in sunny Newcastle. The Premier Inn's pub, which merges with Thyme, is the lively hub of the hotel. When we stayed here there was a good mixed bunch of people and a real celebratory vibe, which really added to our positive experience. Unfortunately, our onward journey the following day was back to the office - but it was nice to soak up the pre-holiday spirit of others!
Thyme restaurant is slightly separated from the pub, but you can grab a table and dine in the bar if you wish - just order from one of the friendly members of staff. A smaller snack menu of nachos, sandwiches, jackets, burgers, pizzas and pub classics is available from noon up until 5pm, and its full restaurant menu is available from 5pm to 9.30pm.

It'd be rude not to raise a glass to your upcoming holiday - and there are plenty of drinks to choose from. There are the popular brands of red, white and rose wines, a choice of lagers and ales on tap, bottled beers, bottled ciders, spirits, whiskies and brandies. There are the usual soft drinks as well as bottled fruit juices, and teas and coffees are Costa.
As this was the first time we had booked Airport Parking/Hotel we were a bit apprehensive on driving up, but we need not, the car park was easy to find , the staff were very professional and friendly and efficient. On arrival at the Premier in we were given our room which was of the usual high standard of this hotel chain. All in all it was a pleasant experience which we would not hesitate in booking again.

Air-parks took us to the Premier Inn, Newcastle air-port,and made sure we knew exactly which way to walk to reach the terminal building.Premier Inn was quiet and comfortable, also very convenient.
