Parking at the Premier Inn during your stay is free. CCTV is in operation and monitored 24 hours a day, and there are barriers on entry and exit, to make sure your car is as safe as possible. It's also well lit, which not only aids security, but also makes it a lot easier to find your car for those early-morning or late night flights - or even if you just drop your keys. The car park is large and right outside the front door, so you're sure of a short walk to the entrance with all your luggage.
Stansted Long Stay car park
For even better value, book a parking package at the Stansted Official Long Stay car park. We recommend that you park your car in the hotel's on-site car park for the night of your stay and drive your car to the Long Stay car park on the morning of your flight. This Official Long Stay car park is within the airport grounds and has CCTV, fencing and lighting at night. Manned 24 hours a day and regularly patrolled, your car will be kept safe and secure to give you peace of mind whilst you globe trot.
The Long Stay car park barriers will lift once they recognise your numberplate, so make sure you travel in the same car that you booked the car park with. It'll print you off a ticket for you to keep with your booking reference on, but bring your booking confirmation, just in case. Then simply park up and wait for the shuttle bus to take you to the terminal. The bus runs 24 hours a day, every 20 minutes. It takes around 15 minutes to get from the car park to the terminal so make sure you have time.
If you decide to park your car at the Official Stansted airport Long Stay car park for the night of your stay at the Premier Inn, you will need to catch the free shuttle bus from the car park to the airport, and then catch another shuttle bus to the Premier Inn hotel, which costs £3 per adult for a single ticket.

Getting from the hotel to the airport
Drive to Long Stay. We'll give you directions in your booking confirmation.
When you arrive the barrier will recognise your number plate, give you a ticket, then rise to let you enter and park.
Once this is done catch the included bus to the terminal. It runs every 15 minutes and takes 15 minutes to get there.
Coming home
Catch the shuttle bus from where it dropped you off. On your way out of the car park insert the ticket you received on arrival and barrier will rise.
