A whole lot more on offer than popcorn

The Thyme Restaurant at the Premier Inn serves hearty pub grub, classic favourites and lighter dishes if you're not that hungry; there are different meal deals available too. We had the three-course meal deal that includes a drink and breakfast the next day. At just £26.49 per person, you can't really go wrong. There's also a two-course meal deal for just £12.50. Hot and cold snacks can also be bought throughout the day at Costa Coffee and the bar. You can enjoy your meals in the stylish restaurant area, decorated with modern print wallpaper and set off with sections of exposed wood. Add that to the attractive lighting and the use of columns and corners for privacy and you end up feeling like you've left your hotel altogether. It was a pleasure to eat our dinner in such a lovely setting without having to pay over the odds for it.

Breakfast

The "Eat as Much as You Like" Premier cooked breakfast is £8.25 and includes the continental options. We made sure to get our money's worth. It's not often that you get to have as much bacon, eggs and everything else as you like for no extra charge, that and the fact that is was a great start to the morning and just really tasty. The continental breakfast on its own costs £5.25 and includes cereals, dried fruit, pastries, porridge and even crumpets. If you wake up late and realise you don't have time for a sit down breakfast, why not have the Grab and Go option? From just £2.95, it includes a coffee or tea from Costa Coffee with a pastry/snack.
