Delta Air Lines began the first ever non-stop service between Edinburgh Airport and New York's John F Kennedy this month.
The direct flight departs every day from Scotland, perfect for trips to the Big Apple or onward connections across the United States.
“No one offers more destinations across the Atlantic. Delta’s new flight connecting New York to Edinburgh continues our successful international expansion which includes 13 new international destinations this year,” said Glen Hauenstein, executive vice president – Network and Revenue Management.
The service is operated with a Boeing 757-200 ETOPS aircraft incorporating 158 economy seats and up to 16 seats in BusinessElite class.
Leather seating and personal in-seat entertainment system, Delta on Demand are features of both classes. Passengers travelling in BusinessElite are treated to a full-size pillow and duvet; stainless steel cutlery and real dinnerware to enjoy food designed by celebrity chef, Michelle Bernstein; and a new 'goodie' bag.
