Atlantic Airways has begun its seasonal service between Stansted airport and Shetland, starting on May 23 and running until August 29.
Passengers will be able to fly to the scenic Scottish island twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.
The direct service to Sumburgh is in its third year of operation and takes 90 minutes. It puts the rugged beauty of the Shetland Islands within easy reach for travellers from London, but also opens up travel opportunities for people living on the islands.
Sumburgh airport manager Nigel Flaws said: "Shetland is a unique environment in the UK.
"The north-south link is good for the islands because it is a direct service which supports inbound tourism and opens up access to a lot of onward connections to Europe from Stansted for people living here."
