Best places to eat in Benidorm

Benidorm possesses a host of top eateries, many of which take full advantage of Alicante province's daily seafood catches. We'll mention some of this resort city's finest cafés and restaurants, but first we recommend that you take a look at how our airport transfers provide a convenient, low-cost shuttle service that will get your holiday started perfectly.

Breakfast in Benidorm

If breakfast isn't available at your holiday residence – or you just fancy a change, there are loads of great establishments in which to enjoy the first, most important meal of the day. Refuel Café Bar does just what it says, by providing a mix of Mediterranean munchies and British bites to eat. Alternatively, Café 23, Bar Meritas and D-VORA gastrobar are well worth a morning visit.

When in Spain…

It's all a matter of taste (quite literally) of course, but why visit a Spanish seaside city if you're not going to take advantage of some of the local delicacies? In Benidorm, you certainly won't be short of options. Margem Restobar, for instance, is a highly rated bistro café-restaurant that specialises in Mediterranean fare with a distinctly Iberian twist. Amigos Bistro, Taita, La Cofradia and Restaurante J Manu are just three other eateries at which you can expect to find delicious local cuisine on the menu.

The best of British abroad

One thing that attracts so many UK travellers to the Costa Blanca is that a British-style pub, café or restaurant is usually never far away. If you enjoy meals that remind you of home, you might want to try Ian's Restaurant, a steakhouse that provides a taste of the old country, while offering plenty of Mediterranean options. Amigos Restaurant and Roof Terrace, Neil's Brasserie and Seven Stars are other good examples of places that serve bang-up British – and continental European – grub.

Eastern promise

If you have a hankering for Asian food – perhaps a traditional gosht karahi or Japanese-style tempura made with fresh local fish – you won't be disappointed. Nepali Tandoori, Curry Leaf, India Gate Restaurante Sherpa Asiatico are just some of Benidorm's restaurants guaranteed to spice up your life. China Garden, meanwhile, is probably the city's number one Chinese restaurant, while Shakti is a great place to sample Thai food. For some aforementioned tempura or some mouth-watering sushi, try nearby Altea's Sushi Bar JT Ryokucha – it's been receiving rave reviews.

Have we whetted your appetite? If so, make sure you take advantage of our Benidorm airport transfers, which will shuttle you with the minimum of fuss from the airport to your hotel. After which, you'll have the chance to explore the city's many fine eating houses.
