Beach activities in Bendirom

There's a very good reason why beaches are such a draw to holidaymakers. Actually, there are several good reasons, many of which we'll cover in due course. Before we do, please check out our airport transfers, which will ensure that you arrive at your accommodation in a timely manner.

Sun, sand and sea

Yes, these three ingredients alone make a resort like Benidorm well worth the visit. Even during the winter months, Benidorm is very rarely cold, and during the summer it's usually never too hot. This means that this resort city's beautiful beaches are almost always ripe for relaxation, picking up a nice suntan, swimming in the warm blue Mediterranean Sea and more besides.

Marvellous Mediterranean meanderings

Benidorm offers plenty of scope for anyone that enjoys a stroll, or a full-scale hike. Take West Beach Promenade as an example. This wave-shaped and brightly coloured walkway mimics the coastline that it runs parallel to, providing a wonderful sun-kissed avenue that allows pedestrians to take in both the city and its sandy coastline.

Sand + sport = fun

Beaches are extremely flexible areas when it comes to working up a sweat. Kicking around a football with best mates or the kids, for example, is a splendid timewaster. Alternatively, you could try your hand (quite literally) at beach volleyball, a rapidly growing and popular seaside sport that is very easy to get involved with in this part of the world. And miniature golf is always a lot of fun, you'll find Mini Golf right by Platja de Llevant, while Mundi Golf is located the other side of Parque Natural de Serra Gelada, next to Playa del Albir.

Water-based activities

Levante and Poniente, Benidorm's two main beaches are great launching points for all manner of water sports, including paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and waterskiing. Of course, it costs nothing to swim in the sea and very little to do a spot of snorkelling. If you fancy the idea of spending even more time underneath the waves, why not visit one of the city's main scuba-diving clubs and make a day of it?

Hopefully, we've piqued your interest with some of these beach-based entertainment examples. Certainly, you won't be short of options, and Holiday Extras' Benidorm Airport transfers will provide you with a low-cost and seamless start to all the holiday fun that lies ahead of you.
