Partying

Known as 'the holiday town that never sleeps', Benidorm is renowned for its lively nightlife scene. There are three main spots to go drinking and clubbing: the old town, Levante beach and the area from Av. del Mediterraneo to Calle Lepanto. Also look out for KU Disco, KM Disco and Hippodrome Disco. Festivals

The summer months in Benidorm are a great time to visit to catch a festival or two. In June, the Romería del Corpus celebrates the feast of Corpus Christi with horse processions, parades and performances. July has San Fermín, an open-air festival featuring the firing of the Chupinazo rocket, dance and lots of food, as well as a party to commemorate the patron saint of Benidorm "San Jaime" with evening festivities and fireworks. In September, La Santina Festival sees bagpipers and dancers congregate before a feast of local and traditional food.
