Benidorm is a hugely popular destination for UK holiday-makers; most flights from UK airports take between 2 - 2.5 hours and when you land the local time will be +1 hour GMT. The closest airport to Benidorm is Alicante Airport which is around 42 minutes drive time from Benidorm.

Getting around Benidorm

One of the important things to know for your holiday is how to get around (assuming you'll be leaving the beach that is!) Bus

The buses in Benidorm are clean and run promptly so it's definitely a service that you can rely on; you can pick up a route map from most hotels. The bus service offers a variety of ticket types including a tourist pass that will give you unlimited trips for 24hrs/72hrs.

Taxis

The Benidorm taxis aren't as expensive as you might think and run on meters so you wont need to worry about negotiating a price beforehand.
