When you arrive - picking up your Majorca hire car

If you're collecting your hire car from Palma Airport, then, once you've collected any luggage, a member of the provider's team will meet you at the appropriate car hire desk. They'll then spend a few minutes checking through the paperwork for the car rental agreement with you. There will be some forms for you to fill in before they hand over the keys to your rental car.

As part of the handover process, they will go through the fuel policy with you and whether you need to return the car full (full to full policy) or on a pre-purchase, partial refund policy where you pay for the amount of fuel in the car when you collect it. Your confirmation will also detail whether there is any mileage limit in your agreement.

Please ensure you are carrying all of the following with you when you pick up your hire car:

  • Printed email confirmation for each of your journeys
  • A full driving licence
  • Credit card in the lead driver's name, with the full deposit amount available
  • A valid DVLA code
  • A valid passport

When it's time to go home

You'll be advised of where you need to return your hire car to on your confirmation. Before you hand the car back, it will be inspected by one of the rental car provider's team.
