Sandman Signature A really nice hotel with good sized family room. Smallish swimming pool but ideal for a family dip. Food in restaurant was slightly expensive for what it was. Good location for airport.

Russ Hill I read some bad reviews and was really worried about staying here.
I had nothing to worry about.
There was 8 of us all together staying, check in was quick, reception staff was very helpful.
We had two family rooms which were large and clean, was basic but everything you needed. We ate in the bar and the food was lovely and good value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Copthorne with parking at the hotel We asked for adjacent rooms for our daughter her husband and 6 year son who would be arriving in the evening. No one advised us that this was not possible as family rooms were on the first floor only and that there were no lifts to the first floor which caused problems with their luggage and lack of staff to help.
Otherwise the hotel was very satisfactory. Regarding car parking, the car was not moved to a secure area as they advised and was left in their general car park. This was not satisfactory.

Holiday Inn We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. The bed provided for the children to sleep in was a single bed. Therefore 3 of us had to sleep in the double bed which resulted in no sleep.

Sandman Signature Purple Parking is excellent. Sandman hotel rather disappointing and rather tired decor. Why do they put two people who requested a double room in a cramped family room with two redundant bunk beds?

Sandman Signature We have stayed here once before and it was fine even with the building works going on. Unfortunately we were given a family room with a connecting door to the next room. In normal circumstances this would have been fine but the people in the room decided to party with there mates until around 2/3am. We asked them to stop but after 5mins all was back to normal and we heard someone else complain as well but to no effect. We got no response from the hotel. Food was very basic and the coffee was awful.
Also the guy at purple parking on our return handed me the keys and said your vehicle is in the centre lane the other side of the bus. Well, we couldn't find it. So I went back and asked him to be more specific and he told me rather sarcastically that it was in row G. We eventually found itm at the end of G near the raised parking area. I doubt very much if we will use either again. So all in all hotel and parking not great!

Cambridge we did ask for a twin room on a lower floor but got a family room in the attic. Phoned for transport back to hotel. we had to wait 30 mins for the bus and then he did a detour to pick up a hotel worker from the nearby town. In all 50 mins to get back to pick up car.

Cambridge We booked 3 family rooms with you with one of the rooms with a cot, when we arrived one of the rooms was not a family room and didn't have a cot, without out any fuss the room was amediiatly changed, will definitely be booking again with you next year.

Sandman Signature Hotel was very comfortable. Had a family room which was fine. Check in was fine. Had a meal in the restaurant which was average for the price paid. Service in the bar was really good and staff friendly.

Straight forward check in lovely room as there weren't any family rooms available food in sports bar was ok a limited choice but at nearly 10 pm wasn't too concerned. On return car had been moved and front bumper scuffed ( didn't raise it at 11pm too tired)which spoilt what was otherwise a good experience

Russ Hill Staff told us we had booked a double and not a family room and when we told them we booked a family room through holiday extras they said that was why. There were no family rooms! When we insisted on our booked family room they somehow found one which was fine
