Copthorne with parking at the hotel Bed was broken: mattress, huge noise from air-con unit , everything in room, carpet etc was shabby, not to the standard of our expectation of a 4 star hotel

Hilton How this hotel got it's 4 star rating is beyond us. It was dirty. The Artex on the ceiling of our room was falling off. Room looked like it had not been cleaned for days. Facilities were dire for early fliers. The service in the bar areas were abysmal. On leaving for our early flight we noticed that the dirty glasses from the night before were still on the tables. To top it off the coffee shop wasn't open to get a morning coffee. Very surprised that The Hilton group are prepared to have their name associated with this hotel.

Hilton Staff and facilities are fine. Location is perfect but tbh it didn't feel like a 4 star hotel and charging for wifi in is a little insulting to be frank.

Everything went OK, the hotel was nice I wouldn't say it's a 4 star maybe in the 80's it would of been. A lot of refurbishing needs to be done.

Russ Hill It was a typical 3 star hotel. Well kept, clean and tidy. Nice gardens to sit in, and helpful staff. The downside? The restaurant food was awful! Next time I'll get a bar meal.

I would like to complain about the Copthorne Effingham hotel. Although classed as 4 star it was completely sub standard. The hotel was dirty and shabby. I think it is appalling that you have this hotel on your books and I feel misled to have booked a mystery 4 star hotel that was so vile.

Airport Inn Poor welcome and ambience Smell of tobacco smoke in the lifts dark and dingy corridors. Over hot rooms no way of cooling. Very expensive drinks and food for what is a 2 star hotel at most.

Everything was perfect thank you! It was a last minute booking only a couple of hours before & booked the mystery hotel, not knowing which one but the price was very fair just knowing it was 4 star at Gatwick North & all the hotels I'd tried with rooms under Â£100 on other websites were full. Then by chance I came across Holiday Extras & saw the offer & booked it immediately. The hotel was great, check in was quick & the room was perfect. Would definitely book through again & recommend Holiday Extras! Saved the day for us!!

Hilton Paid for 4 star hotel at Gatwick and the children's beds were bunk beds which creaked all night long, no one got much sleep and not much fun before an early flight. Also the car parking service booked with the hotel booking - basically waved goodbye to the car and kept our fingers crossed it was returned, well we got it back tonight and still waiting for an answer why all the radio settings have been lost and the clock was reset to midnight.

Cambridge Very helpful staff excellent restaurant at the Cambridge Hotel although the accommodation was a bit tied but it is only rated as a 3 star hotel. On the whole very pleased and would book again

Very efficient as always. This time I booked a cheap 3 star undercover hotel, with parking. The hotel was a little tired in appearance but was clean, comfortable and included transfer costs. A bargain.

Courtyard by Marriott Everything went smoothly and the staff were very helpful and pleasant both with the car parking and hotel accommodation. The hotel accommodation I would class nearer to 4 Star than 3 but food and drinks were expensive for a 3 star which makes the overnight stay not quite so economical.

Sandman Signature Ramada hotel was disappointing more a 3 star than a 4 star. For example some staff indifferent or sarcastic and door on cupboard in room coming off hinges. Although room booked for two people we only had toiletries and tea/coffee and busicuits for one.
